Los Angeles COVID-19 Vulnerability (version 1)

This project draws on data and research conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic by the UCLA Center for Neighborhood Knowledge, in partnership with the UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Initiative, Ong & Associates, the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, and the UCLA Luskin Institute on Inequality & Democracy. The resulting research briefs show that different communities across the Los Angeles area are disproportionately burdened by the epidemic and face housing insecurity, job displacement, and hardship to shelter-in-place. The UCLA maproom is made possible through the creative guidance of Manon Vergerio and an ongoing grant from the platform, Carto.
