The Center for Neighborhood Knowledge is happy to have Dr. Deirdre Pfeiffer join the team as a Visiting Scholar for the academic year. Dr. Pfeiffer is an associate professor at Arizona State University (ASU) in the School of Geographical Sciences & Urban Planning. Her research focuses on housing strategies in the U.S. for an aging and diversifying society, outcomes of the foreclosure crisis, and the relationship between housing and health.
At CNK, Dr. Pfeiffer will serve as co-PI for a project, funded by the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate, examining the role of investor ownership of single-family homes on neighborhood stability in Southern California.
