The Lens: HIV Prevalence and COVID-19 Vulnerabilities

December 3, 2021/0 Comments/in News/by CNK Staff

The COVID-19 pandemic has renewed concerns about social and structural factors related to health disparities, including those related to HIV. The HIV Prevalence and COVID-19 Vulnerabilities Mapping Tool was developed to better understand geographic health and social disparities related to persons living with HIV/AIDs.

This tool was created by the UCLA Center for Neighborhood Knowledge in partnership with the California HIV/AIDS Research Policy Center. The authors thank the State Office of AIDS, California Department of Public Health for their input. Funding for this project was provided by the California HIV/AIDS Research Program (award #H21PC3466).

Access the mapping tool here at: Lens: Web Mapping Tool

The accompanying brief with information on how to use the web mapping tool can be found at: HIV Prevalance and COVID-19 Vulnerabilities
